Cassie
Cassie, the only girl puppy amidst 6 boys in her litter, went home with Peggy McNally. There she joined her new sister Haley, a wild and crazy Welsh terrier. When Cassie went home, she was calmer at 8 weeks than Haley was at two years. In this pictures of Cassie, she is about 4 months old. |
Peggy is involved in agility at B.A.R.K., the agility club where we also practice. We get to see Cassie and Haley often. Cassie is very steady at practice and enjoys agility, especially when she is showing off, letting Haley know how good she is. These pictures were taken at Cassie's first agility trial. Here Peggy and Cassie are practicing paying attention before going into the ring. |

Cassie ran a perfect run her first time in the ring. She would have placed fifth in her class, but Peggy didn't take off her tick collar and she was disqualified for wearing two collars in the ring. That afternoon Cassie qualified in jumpers. Since that day, Cassie has earned four titles and is now competing in the excellent class in both standard and jumpers in AKC agility, one of the few Airedales in the country to be competing at this level. Cassie is terrific! |
