Dinah had a litter of puppies in June, 1998. She was bred to Caleb, aka CH Droffat's Puttin' on the Ritz UD AX AXJ, a handsome and talented dog. Eight puppies were born, 6 dogs and 2 bitches. One bitch was tiny, only 6 ounces. She was born with a cleft palate and soon died. The rest were strong and healthy pups. |

Dinah adopted a "litter" of stuffed toys two days before her actual litter was born. She insisted the toys be included with the regular litter and got quite upset if they were removed from the litter box. The real puppies grew up with the toys as "litter mates", and some of the pups could usually be found draped around their best friend, a favorite toy. |

As you can see, Dinah was very comfortable with her pups and was a terrfic mom. She really seemed to enjoy motherhood. Visit withRiley, Harry, Atticus , Huck, and Cassie . They are all lucky to be members of wonderful, loving families. |
