Riley

From the start, Riley was a confident pup. One of the biggest pups, he was calm and mellow. His first time outdoors, he was the puppy to take off and explore, while the rest of the gang hung together, trying to take in the vastness of the great outdoors. It seemed sensible to send him to Nantucket. After all, how far could he wander on an island?

Once he got to the Nantucket, it became clear that he truly got to live the life of Riley. His people, Megan and Andy, both have jobs that are dog friendly, every dog's dream.

When the weather's good, Riley helps supervise Andy's constuction company. On the day these pictures were taken, Andy was building a dock. Riley helped to carry the equipment. A nap in the march grass seemed appropriate when that job was done. Riley was born to be an island dog. His favorite place is the swamp and he loves to go clamming. He stands in the water and searches for clams. When he see one, he dunks his head in and grabs it.

Riley grew up in Megan's antiques shop. He has matured into a gentle dog whose place is in front of the door, the official greeter to all who come to visit. Stop by and say hello!
