Welcome to the Pot of the Month!

Here are four carved rim pots for your consideration. The pot with the most votes will be on eBay on September 1. No need to vote for the Airedale pot. Look for it on eBay May 15. Pot of the Month will be on vacation during the summer months while Pet Portraits Pots are being made. Commissions are being taken now. Look for a new Pot of the Month page September 1.

To answer some questions about voting: If you vote, your name will not be given out to anyone. You will get a short email at the start of each month with the results of the last month's votes and a few words about the new pots. If you don't want to receive that email but want to vote, just put a note on your vote that says something like "No emails, please." Anytime you want to stop receiving the monthly email, just send a note and you'll be taken off the list. Any notes sent along with votes are read and much appreciated. Thanks.

Cats

On this bowl, we have ten cats carefully eying five sparrows. Let's hope the birds fly off before it's time for lunch. This stoneware bowl is 6 1/2" wide and 3 3/4" high. To see more pictures of this bowl, click here.

Chickens

Fill this bowl with eggs and make these chickens proud! Or fill it with popcorn and give them something to eat. Either way, this will be a contented flock. This stoneware bowl is 6" wide and 3 1/2" high. To see more pictures, click here.

Swans

There are three types of swans found in the North America: the Mute, Tundra and Trumpeter. The latter, which is found on this pot, is the largest native waterfowl, with a wingspan over 7 feet. Trumpeter swans have strong family bonds, mating for life and caring for their offspring for much longer than many other birds. This stoneware vase is 4 1/2" wide and 7" high. Nose to Nose

On this bowl, a group of Airedale pals pause a second to go nose to nose. It's only a moment in time, then they're off again to raise havoc. This porcelain bowl is is 4 1/2" wide and 3" high. To see more pictures of this pot, click here.

This pot will be available on eBay starting May 15.
