Elephant Pot

Elephants Elephants

Four elephants, each accompanied by a cattle egret, make their way round and round this little container. The inside is glazed elephant gray. This small pot is made of porcelain, painted with underglaze paints and glazed with a transparent glaze. It is 4 1/4" wide and 3 3/4" high. This pot was sold in December for $204.25

Four white sassy chickens are found on this breakfast set. In the background are cheerful bands of color separated by a black matte glaze. The interior is cadet blue. This set has a lidded sugar bowl and a cream pitcher. Each pot is 3 3/4" wide and 3 3/4" high, the sugar bowl's knob slightly higher. The pots are made of porcelain. The set was sold in December for $444.

Elks Under Aspens Pitcher

Elk Pitcher Elk Pitcher

This pitcher, made of white stoneware, recreates a scene familiar in Rocky mountains during the fall. Two elks call each other under yellow aspens. The pitcher was glazed in a buttery yellow glaze then painted with underglaze paints. The colors are soft and muted. This tall, heavy pitcher is 12 " high and measures 6 1/4" in diameter at the bottom. This pot was sold in November for $405.

Windows Jar

The Window Jar has been thrown in porcelain, glazed in a matte glaze, then decorated with underglaze paints. Around the pot are a multitude of colorful windows, giving you a glimpse of lives that might live within the pot. The lid is painted in a manner resembling roof shingles. The height of this pot is 11 1/4" and the diameter is 6". This pot was sold in October for $1329.00.

This is a new, one of a kind, round vase made of red stoneware. This pot features a ring of bee eaters, a small tropical bird, clustered around the pot. The design was created by masking the partially dried stoneware with latex resist in the shape of the birds, then applying a coat of porcelain. The latex is removed, and the shape of the porcelain birds remains slightly raised above the surface. The birds are painted with underglaze paints and covered with a transparent glaze. The interior is a deep turquoise color. This pot is 6 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches high. This pot was sold in September for $242.50

This vase is made of red stoneware. The shape of the zebras and the background were masked and the pot was glazed in a glossy cream glaze. The mask was removed and underglaze paints were used on top of the glaze. The background is unglazed red clay and the interior is off-white. The size of the pot is 11 inches high and 5 1/4 inches in diameter. The pot was sold in July for $935.

This bowl is made of porcelain. When the pot was leather hard, the rim was carved in the shape of the hippos. The hippos were painted with underglaze paint, with a pool of blue water at their feetThe exterior is glazed in a shiny clear glaze. The interior is a satin matte black. The size of the pot is 5 inches in diameter and 3 inches high. The pot was sold in June for $310.

This pot is made of red stoneware, embossed with porclain slip in the shape of butterflies. The butterflies are painted with underglaze paint, then glazed in a transparent glaze. The background is unglazed. The interior is a soft blue-grey. The pot is 11 inches high and 6 3/4 inches in diameter. The pot was sold in May for $500.

This pot is made of black clay, embossed with porcelain slip in the shape of cats. The cats are painted with underglaze paint, then glazed in a transparent glaze. The background is unglazed. The interior is a honey gold glaze. The pot is 5 inches high and 4 1/4 inches in diameter. The pot was sold in April, 1999 for $178.50.
